Cleaning FAQ’s

Who will clean my home or office?

Our carefully selected, vetted, and experienced staff usually work on their own or as a pair. We endeavour to ensure the same cleaner works for you each time. Of course none are allowed to eat, smoke or use none cleaning related appliances while in or around your home or office.

What days and hours can I have my home cleaned?
Our cleaners work Monday to Friday mainly from 9.30 to 2.30 p.m. (some cleaners can work later if required) While we do not offer weekend, evening, or public holiday cleaning services on a regular basis, we may be able to arrange this on an occasional basis.
What days and hours can I have my office cleaned?
Our cleaners are available during normal working hours as well as early morning, evening’s and weekends (Please email us to check availability).
Who keeps the keys to my home or office and who has access to them?
If you decide to give the cleaner a key, she will fill in a client key form, which has all her details on and signs at the bottom as received, this is for you to keep safe. The cleaner keeps all keys safe in her home locked away. Your address is not on the key, only your surname, so she knows which keys she needs on a certain day.
What will it cost?
You and your home or office are unique, and it will depend on how many hours you require, and the frequency of the clean. you may not want to have the same service as other clients. The fees are based on the services you feel you need with us, we are happy to talk to you about your requirements over the phone or by email.
You also choose which package you require. We can use your cleaning products and equipment which will keep the cost down, and means we are using what you are used to. For a small extra charge our cleaners can bring their own products, just let us know when you are booking your clean.

How do I pay?
You pay a Standing Order to the company which is paid every calender month - this covers our company fee. The cleaners are paid directly by yourselves on the day of the clean. Once we know what hours you are booking we will send you all the information you need regarding payment amounts etc.
Is your work guaranteed?
In the unlikely event you are not satisfied, please contact us within two working days, to discuss what you are not happy with and we will aim to sort any issue. We will happily replace the cleaner if you should prefer this, and we will refund of course the company fee.
Does your company carry insurance?

Yes, we are fully insured.

Do you bring all your own equipment and supplies?

This is totally your choice, we aim to suit everyone’s pockets and needs. We usually use your own equipment and supplies, this helps keep the cost down for you, however for a small extra charge the cleaners will bring there’s along if you so wish.

What about my pets?

We love pets. It would be ideal if you would introduce the cleaners to your pet(s) during the first visit. You could also show the cleaners where the treats are so when we return, we can offer them a treat before starting the clean.

What if something gets broken?

First of all, we are fully insured. If you have any items which are particularly delicate or irreplaceable, or of high sentimental value, please let us know at our initial meeting so we can discuss your requirements. As you’d expect, we treat your possessions with the utmost care. In the highly unlikely event that something is damaged or broken, the cleaner will discuss if your present/leave notification in writing for you and we will endeavour to contact you immediately.

If there is a problem, who can I call?

Our reputation depends on our exceptional standards which we take very seriously. However, in the unlikely event of any concern, please telephone us on 0161 498 0595 and we will do our utmost to resolve it immediately.

How do I arrange changes, special requests, or holiday postponements?
Please contact us as far in advance as you can, ideally allowing a minimum of a week, which should allow us to make any changes necessary. In any case please give us no less than 48 hours notice or we may be obliged to charge you part or all of the fee. In the case of a public holiday the cleaners will contact you to make any alternative arrangements.
Cancellation

Please let us know as far in advance as possible. If we cannot gain access to your home or office, or if we have no or less than 24 hours’ notice, we may be obliged to charge the full price. For cancellations between 24 and 48 hours’ notice, we may charge up to half of the fee. The reason for this is we are unable to re-assign the cleaner on such short notice.

Do you need to visit our home/office?

Domestic cleans, in most cases after chatting with you over the phone, we can allocate a cleaner to you. There is no need to visit your home, unless you require it. There is no hard sell from us, we listen to what you need and match you up with the ideal cleaner. 

Office cleans, due to this being a work place we will need to check that we feel safe putting our cleaners in your building, therefore we will need to visit, so you can show us around and what exactly needs cleaning, and to discuss safety in the work place.

What happens to my personal details?

We’re a registered Data Controller and all your information is kept strictly confidential.

Do I need to be at home during the cleaning services?

No, though you should feel comfortable being at home if you choose. We operate a strict security system for your keys and alarm codes so you can still relax when you’re out.

What should I do about my alarm system on home cleaning day?

When you are not at home, if you wish us to de-activate and re-active an alarm system please give us the code and any instructions during our phone consultation. We are more than happy to do this.

How will I recognise your staff?

All our cleaners will introduce themselves to you when they arrive, They do not wear uniforms, they wear comfortable clothing ready for cleaning.  

Do you clean communal areas?

Yes, where we already clean one apartment in the building, we are happy to agree a schedule for cleaning of main doors, shared halls and stairs.
